The holidays are better with a best friend… and The 12 Strays of Christmas Adoption Special is back to make that happen!
Every day between December 10th and December 23rd, 12 select pets will have a special adoption fee of just $12! When one pet finds a home, another takes their place in the “12 Strays” lineup!

Pet Food Pantry Drive Thru Distribution

Knox County Humane Society has launched an all new Pet Food Pantry! If you are struggling to afford pet food, you are not alone – and you don’t have to face it alone. Our pantry is here to help keep pets fed and home with their families where they belong.
Supplies are limited and are available while they last.

Closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
December 24th
Knox County Humane Society will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, December 24th & 25th. We will reopen for adoptions and reclaims on Friday, December 26th. Don’t worry, the pets are in good hands!
